I walk back into the house and see Kimishima's wounds after the battle and they are completely and totally severe. If he doesn't
get help soon, he may die. Lucky for me Kanami could take care of him, for at least a little while until I could think of something to do.
" What can I do? Damn those HOLY bastards. " I still can hardly believe that I was still unable to beat that Ryuhou guy, and to think he
was holding back. Nothing makes me angrier and can make me think that I need more power. " Kazu-kun, he needs help badly. I'm not
a doctor, you need to find some help. " I looked at her softly, knowing she was right and that I would have to do something. The problem
was that I didn't know what. " Don't worry Kanami, I'll think of something. I'm going to go for a day maybe two then I'll come back with
help ok? " Of course Kanami knew that Kimishima wouldn't last more than three days, so she nodded and went back to tending his
wounds. I decided that I would do the only thing that could possibly save Kimishima, and that was to join Holy.
The air was nice at night even in the slummy area of the Lost Grounds that I lived on. " Ok, It's time for me to get going
Goodbye Kanami and take care of Kimishimia" I yelled while I ran off. The entire time that I was heading to the city there was only one
thing on my mind. That one thought was about how I was going to join Holy once I arrived. The road seemed to go up and down like a
roller coaster, I've never seen one personally just heard of them. Finally I reached the gate to the city. I paid a gate keeper some money
to let me in. I was for my first time, in the city. Looking around the city it took some time to find the Holy building. But after
about an hour of searching I finally was able to find it. Earlier I had come to a decision, that instead of beating around the bush I'd just
walk in and say that I was going to join Holy. It was a plan that couldnt fail, or so I hoped. Just my luck, when I opened the door every
Holy member was sitting there and then they jumped up ready for a fight.
" Hey, wait. I'm not here for that. I thought I'd Join Holy for a change." I declared.
" You, Join Holy? Don't make me laugh. " Laughed a fat man holding a watermelon.
Of course every Holy member objected and they wanted to throw me in jail again. Just when I thought that I'd have to fight my
way out someone stepped up. Everyone stood at attention seeing him, and I knew immediatly he had to be the head guy.
" Of course you can join. Glad to meet you I am Captain Jigumar leader of the Holy squadron." he seemed nice enough and extended
his hand. I didn't want to be rude or anything so I shook his hand.
" Sherice, show Kazuma our headquarters and get him a Holy uniform. " He ordered and she did instantly. I wondered what his Alter
ability was. " Hai, captain. " She seemed very polite and gave me a guided tour. Of course I wasn't interested in anything but finding the
cafeteria so I asked.
" Where can a guy get some food in this place? " She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face, almost as if she called me a cretan
to my face without saying a single word.
" Down the hall and to the left. I guess I'll c'ya later. " She then turned and walked off.
When I first walked into the cafeteria it seemed like a banquet hall, there was so much food. I thought to myself 'I need to bring
Kimishima and Kanami here as soon as they'll let me leave headquarters'. After grabbing a huge plate of food I sat down at a table and
who else should show up but my old friend and teacher Cougar.
" Hi, Kazuya. So you decided to join us eh? " he asked. He seemed to be the only one to welcome me openly in the entire group.
" It's Kazuma, and yeah I think I'll join you guys. Hey I'm in a bit of a jam could you help me out? " I hoped he would help me
out.
" Depends, what do you need Kazuya? " It always bugged me that he never could get my name right so I just ignored it for once.
" There are two of my friends back where I live that need help. A little girl Kanami and a man that is hurt badly named Kimishima. Do
you think you could bring them here? Kimishima will die if he doesn't get help.
" I asked hoping Cougar could do something.
" Yeah I'll help you out. See the lady over there. " He pointed to a woman, and I noticed she was the one to save Kanami's life last time.
" Yeah what about her? " I asked
" She can help once they're back so go talk to her I'll be back in 5 minutes. " He said confidently, then ran off at high speed.
I decided I'd go talk to her, also I had to thank her from the first time she saved Kanami's life. I was very bad at thanking people
for things but I made an exception with her because she was one of the very few nice people in the city I'd met so far.
" Yo, are you Mimori? " I asked, and she turned around.
" Yes, I'm Mimori. What do you need? " She asked nicely.
" Cougar is going to bring back my friends, the one you helped before and the other guy that was with me. His name is Kimishima and
well he's hurt badly, so could you help him? "
" Your a member of Holy now, of course I'll help. " She smiled.
" Arigatou. " I thanked her and went back to eating.
Cougar didnt lie when he said 5 minutes he came running in the room just as i had sat down. He had Kanami with him. And was
holding her with his arm as he ran in the room. I just sat there and ate my food. Kanami hopped out of Cougar's arms and walked over to
greet me like she always does.
" Hi, Kazu-kun " she said as always.
" Ok, there you go Kazuya. Just like I said I'd bring her I did. " He said trying to annoy me.
" Where is Kimishima? " I asked trying to ignore the Kazuya thing.
" He's at the doctor. The doctor says he'll be fine in about a week. " Kanami said.
" Well I'm going to go c'ya Kazuya. " He smirked as he walked off.
" IT'S KAZUMA!! " I yelled but he ignored me.
Mimori giggled as she walked up. She looked over Kanami making sure she was fine and then she sat down. She whispered
something in Kanami's ear then she started giggling too. I felt left out so I walked over to the food area and grabbed some things
for Kanami. I got her some ice creme and a sandwich that was huge. She laughed saying that it was a strange meal. She ate it though.
Mimori got up and walked off to check on Kimishima at the Infirmity. After eating I took her around the headquarters but was stopped by
captain Jigumar.
" This is not a place for children. Take her to your Apartment. " He ordered.
" Umm... Captain I don't know where my room is. " I replied quickly.
" Ok, wait here I'll go find someone to take you to the room. " He kinda grumbled something under his breath. I could tell he was a very
serious guy.
The next thing I knew the man I hate most walked up. He stopped and said that he was going to show me where my room
was.
" Your going to show me my room!? What are you, Holy's bellboy? " I laughed. He ignored me and turned to Kanami.
" Hello, my name is Ryuhou. Your friend is an oaf but I'll show you guys to your room cause I was ordered to do so. " He was
trying to act nice to her which bugged me because I knew how much of a jerk he really is. We went up to a top story in a huge building
and he opened the door for us. The room was huge it was as big as my whole house and had everything in it. I could hardly believe how
good it was to be in holy and how much this thing could pay off. Kanami thanked him and he left the room, but before so he handed me
an order from the captain that read. Kazuma, you are to report to the main hall of the headquarters tomorrow morning at 0800 hours.
Do not be late, and don't forget to wear your HOLY uniform. Your training begins tomorrow so be ready. I took the letter and made sure to
put it somewhere I'd notice it. So of course I stuck it in the kitchen. I looked around the room and saw a T.V. I had heard of them before
but never got to use one because we lived in the inner part of Lost Grounds. So I turned it on and was amazed to see all of the things
that were on it, anything from news, to movies, to cartoons. The place was like heaven. After a while I suddenly remembered something.
I didn't know what 0800 hours was. I went to Kanami's bedroom and woke her up to ask her.
" Kanami, do you know what 0800 hours is? " She gave me a puzzled look.
" Umm... Kazu-kun it's 8am in military time. Don't you think it's getting late? It's like after midnight. " She was barely awake so I
decided to let her sleep and went into my bedroom to catch some sleep too. I tossed and turned most of the night thinking of what the
training at holy would be like. I finally fell asleep and almost what seemed like minutes later the alarm clock went off I got up
and Headed to the headquarters anxiously awaiting what was in store for me.
