Some People may have not played these older final fantasy games so I thought this page would be helpful for those who want a brief description for the Final Fantasy games six through eight.

Final Fantasy VI
This game starts 1000 years ago and after a war of the magi, which ended all magic. But there is a girl named Terra collered by an evil emporer to control her mind. She then escapes and your adventure begins. This game is thought to be one of the best final fantasy games ever made.

Final Fantasy VII
This game begins in a huge megacity named Midgar. You are a former SOLDIER in a evil corperation but you have joined a rebel faction. Your leader wants do save the world from the evil Shinra corperation, and thus this game begins. This game is often the favorite of Final Fantasy fans who enjoy this series. If you havnt played it, you must.

Final Fantasy VIII
This game begins at a school for future military soldiers. The codename for these soldiers is SeeD and the main character is Squall a top student. Life is good for Squall and graduation is just a few days away, however something terrible is on the horizon. This game raises some huge debate among final fantasy fans. Either you love this game or you wont. Personally I really enjoyed it. Try it out and judge for yourself.
